For those of you who are interested, there are about six dozen of Mr. Doutt's
Cape Bulbs books for sale on Bookfinder (http://www.bookfinder.com/).  New books are $35
and up; used books are $23 and up.  Abput half of them are priced under $40.
Prices include shipping and handling.

Jim.
I'm sure others on this list can supply more thorough information, but
here's a start.
If memory serves me correctly, Bioquest International was Richard Doutt's
nursery in California.  Doutt grew (from seed) and sold winter-growing
bulbs native to South Africa.
He also authored a book, Cape Bulbs (1994) which was published through
Timber Press.  Apparently, it is no longer in print, but used copies are
available.  You can probably find it in a good university library.

leadds. Since then I have traced it back - possibly to a mid 1990s listing
from Bioquest International  and the late Richard L. Doutt.

sell seeds, plants, wild collected? Anyone have a list with this bulb on
