Re: container size for Amoreuxia, I grew A. palmatifida (from seed) in a 6" pot for about ten years. It flowered well usually and was kept in a warm greenhouse. I think summer nights in CA are too cool for it to thrive. It really is a beautiful plant as are the remaining species. A Southwest regional endemic genus, except for a remarkable jump to a dry area of Peru on the Amazonian slope.
