I have been asked about the source of the Iris delavayi seed i sent in to the BX it came to me as a plant "Iris delavayi NARGS 2004" i cannot find any photos but i recall it is blue and blooms later than most irises. the foliage is evergreen and up to 1” wide and 25” tall it has been suggested that most Iris delavayi turn out to be a plain siberica/sanguinea hybrid.
