Lycoris squamigera & Amaryllis belladonna

Both,  in foliage, could never be mistaken.

Even the bulbs are different, Belladonna having the many bulb tunics with silky threads typical of South African amaryllids.  Squamigera, with the plain thin shell narcissus like tunics.
