Michael, I grow them here in Auckland, New Zealand, which is the equivalent of Zone 10a and they do fine. I have some real mini ones, and some extremely tall ones and some in between. Some get more sun than others, they all do well, no special treatment required. I love them. Will Dierama varieties grow here and, if so, which ones? I understand that they require direct sun and well draining soil, but would there be anything that would prevent them from thriving here in this tropical area's hot, humid summers? Please advise.
