To whom it may concern, I have been in contact with the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, they have no record of seeds from Cosmos sanguineus coming to them, they write: 'I have queried our database of seed accessions and we do not have an accession of Cosmos atrosanguineus in our records. I also asked some of our past horticultural staff who could have potentially received the seeds (Bart O'Brien and Dylan Hannon) and neither of them recall receiving the seeds of this species.'
