Just as in the case of Iris winogradowii, properly pronounced "veen-oh-gra-dov-
ee-ee".

Our local rock gardening club used to be infested by a lady who can only be 
described as a "name-dropping snob" and it gave me great pleasure to correct 
her pronunciation of the name of this beautiful iris.
