Thought I'd post the apology from Longfield:

We are contacting you to inform you that we possibly shipped Scilla
Peruviana bulbs to you instead of Scilla Maderensis. When the grower
shipped us the bulbs, due to labeling confusion they were mixed with Scilla
Peruviana. We do everything we can to have strict quality controls, however
we became aware of this mistake after we shipped your order. The easiest
way to tell if you have the correct product is to check the color of the
bulbs. The bulbs should be purple in color, not white. These bulbs are
grown in Israel and the grower will be replacing them. Please note it is
Rosh Hashanah and many businesses in Israel are closed so it will be a few
days before we receive the replacement bulbs. As soon as we receive them,
you will be shipped new bulbs. If you did in fact receive the correct
purple colored bulbs, please reach out and let us know. We will be in touch
next week when the bulbs have shipped to provide tracking numbers.

They also included a $25 gift certificate with this, which I thought was
darn nice of them.
Dee
