"Imidacloprid... will als kill all other kinds of insect pests." It also gets into nectar and pollen. Bees (honey, bumble, wild, etc.) are extremely sensitive to it and recent studies show that it has a cumulative effect on them. It is suspected to be a contributor to colony collapse syndrome.
