Babiana rubrocyanea (spider mites?)

For spider mites or any kind of mite, I find that floramite works really well, it gets rid of them for months on end and doesn't smell bad. I get small bottles with droppers off of ebay, I think they are geared towards folks raising a more profitable indoor crop than what I grow :) but it works well just the same. Even gets rid of broad mites which are a menace to impatiens spp. The commercial greenhouse sized containers the stuff usually comes in are way too expensive for small applications, though a tiny bit does go far. Outside in summer mites are not a problem for my potted plants, the rain and a hosing usually takes care of spider mites, but I do try and treat susceptible plants before they come in for winter.

In NY where its snowing and sleeting, off from school again, so time to plant more seeds while stuck inside.
