Hi Mark and Ernie, The idea that hybrids don't make seeds is not necessarily true. Some hybrids make seeds readily. Take hippeastrums for instance, some crosses are so complex with multiple parentage, yet they continue to make seeds. Ernie, you make a good point. I don't think I want to risk it just to find out. In a controlled lab setting maybe, but not in my garden where too many things could go wrong.
