Very interesting that you have 8 year old Welwitschia seeds germinating. My son has a pair of Welwitschia that germinated this spring. We have had very mixed results with their germination over the years. I was beginning to think I needed fresh seed. Ken P Old Bridge, NJ Zone 6 b
