Here in Delaware near the Delaware Bay, Colchicum cilicicum is blooming rather more spectacularly than in the past few years, but at virtually the same time, mid-September on. It is always the first Colchicum to bloom in my garden, with others species following.

Hi, Travis
I am just getting around to reading your blog post. I have just planted C.
cilicicum in August and it's not blooming for me yet. I was under the
impression that C. cilicicum was one of the last to bloom. Do the other
colchicums in your garden bloom before it?
