While I can't pretend to know how the server is configured, a low priority setting could explain this behavior. Once when we got new PCs at work, I noticed we had a "print to fax" option so I decided to print a word document to the office fax machine to test it out. It didn't work so I forgot about it until a month later when it printed out. Further investigation showed the default priority in the office server was "99" for the print to fax. Tim
