Hi Nick
How often did you water them?
I have grown these for two years in a row also three to a 12" terra-cotta clay pot full of pumice and only watered them once and they grew well and flowered but did not rebloom the second year. This year i decided to water them more. I noticed that when they are well watered the leaves loose the gray wax color and they become more bright green. Of course this all happening under very bright lights in a basement.
