But for one small quibble, yes. The quibble is that the word Scilla in question is the genus name, with a capital S and italicized. For the word scilla (lower case s and no italics) there is no issue because that word scilla is not Latin, not a name from formal taxonomy, and is not governed by Latin grammar.
