Allen McMurtrie's reticulate iris hybrids

Yep,  one of our local small nursery people got one of his emails too.  I think his cultivars look lovely and that he would have been better growing and selling them himself.  I have a suspicion the big Dutch bulb guys are taking the little guy for a ride.  I’ll bet he’s had to put up a bunch of money for their “interest” and now that these bulbs are ready to sell he’s been told he’s got to drum up interest in them.
