In my experience some members of the former genus Scilla (don't know
what split S. madeirensis landed in) are self-fertile.

This year however I took several days off and upon my return I noticed seed pods forming on several flowers. Another week has passed and the pods have grown to pea size. Any chance of the seeds being fertile. What could have pollinated them.
