Welcome to the PBS.
Calochortus 'Golden Orb' and Calochortus 'Burgundy' are selections offered by commercial bulb growers. They do not seem to have been offered generally over the last two years, though, at least in the US. These may be tissue cultured, rather than seed grown, so I'd be careful with those names.
The PBS offers a Seed Exchange periodically through the year. You just missed the latest offering, which included several Calochortus. There are a few commercial seed sources for Calochortus. You will find a very interesting offerings at and
Good luck,

My name is Dustin Stoll and I am a horticulturist at Tulsa Botanic Garden in Tulsa, OK. We are a fairly new botanic garden, but are growing very rapidly. We have about 7 acres of developed gardens right now, but plan to grow that to 70 acres in the next 20 years.

We are interested in starting a collection of Calochortus to display in our gardens, and thought you could be a valuable resource. Would you have any bulbs or seeds that you would be willing to share, or trade for something that we may have in Oklahoma? If not, do you know of any other sources that could help us? Below are some specific kinds we are looking for, but would also be open to anything else you are willing to share.

Calochortus luteus 'Golden Orb'

Calochortus superbus

Calochortus venustus 'Burgundy'

I appreciate your consideration in helping us grow our plant collections, and helping us bring awareness to plants only found in California.
