Hi everyone, I have been out capturing photos this morning of Cypella coelestis plant clumps flowering, both grown from seed. The first photo is the typical one I think, with the first flowers being produced today. The second one has been flowering for awhile now and was described as a grey/blue variation by the grower I got the seeds from (here in NZ). It has come true from seed. I like the muted, moody colour combination of this one just as much as the original. I’m wondering if this is a natural variation or perhaps the result of hybridisation? I mention this as the grey/blue one is setting lots of seed, and it’s next to a Cypella herbertii which is setting seed like its life depends on it! I would like to share some of the resulting seed and be confident with the results:) Wishing you all a very happy New Year! Kind regards, Susan Clark (Hibiscus Coast, NZ) _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
