Some friends who have moved to Columbia, South Carolina have asked me if snowdrops will thrive there. I don't know about Galanthus, but I'm pretty sure Leucojum aestivum will thrive there. Does anyone else have an idea about this? Is Galanthus elwesii likely to thrive there?Jim McKenneyMontgomery County, Maryland, USDA zone 7 where Uli Urban's blue tropical waterlily is growing like a weed (but has not bloomed yet) and the Lycoris season has started.
