There are a lot more than 28 plants prohibited into Germany. Because of the Xylella fastidiosa virus, which affects olive trees in Italy, the EU put out a huge list of plants now prohibited from entry into the EU.http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/… includes everything from citrus trees and coffee bushes to stinging nettles.
