Dear all, Last year Dell sent me 5 Hippeastrum calytratum seeds from the BX. About two weeks ago I sowed them in my usual mix and set them in a dish of water in a sunny window. This week the last of the five germinated! They are now out of the dish. This is a special event for me. Over 20 years ago I raised one bulb from seed and it flowered. For a time it was shown on the WIKI until replaced by another photo. Sadly, the bulb became virused and was destroyed. Since then I have yearned for another. Now I have 5 seedlings to try again.
