Plant Names on PBS

When a name that has been used for a long time has been recently
changed, it is best to include the former name in this form: Moraea
sisyrinchium (syn. Gynandriris s.). The brutal lumping to which the
Iridaceae have recently been subjected has caused a lot of puzzlement.
Indeed, I think that Gynandriris was an Iris for a few years. So what
has happened to the former Hermodactylus? Is it still an Iris?

the bulb house today.
