This isn't meant as a comment on this specific request or the
requester.  However, there is currently a serious issue in California
with people identified as Chinese and Korean nationals ripping thousands
of plants out of their wild habitats and sending them to Asia for sale to
collectors.  One of the succulents commonly stolen is the California
native Duddleya, and the locations of some very rare species are being
kept secret to protect them from predation by these plant thieves. 
It occurs to me that photos of plants in situ might provide clues to their
locations.  I don't know, of course, that this is also a problem with
South African Oxalis spp.
