Oncos are notorious for not selfing. Reichenbachii can probably be selfed. It's pollen, or lutescens, aphylla, pumila ect. might take, to give a few seeds.

Subject: [pbs] Iris sari

 Hi
I will have Iris sari in flower in a couple of days. Just 2 flowers on 1 plant, maybe a day or so apart. Can I self this/these? I may have Iris reichenbachii in flower too but the timing may be even more out looking at the flowers that are over and in flower and in bud today. Both are seed grown, from AGS, or Tom Mitchell seed collection. It would be good to get some more seed of the I. sari, the other is more readily available.
