Jane:

I never planted them and now have a bed of fifty or so.

I've given loads to a sister on the South Shore of MA (Scituate) . and she tossed them in a road side area and they have thrived.

Think they are one of those "toss them and they'll grow:.

Subject: [pbs] bulbils

My tiger lilies are making stem bulbils. There is a layer of mulch
around the lilies, so just letting them fall off probably means they
don't do anything further. I suppose I could plant them somewhere else
in the garden. How long does it take to get a flower from a stem bulbil?
Do I have to wait for them to fall off naturally, or can they be picked?

Can tiger lilies be crossed with other lilies?

What other lilies make stem bulbils?
