Hyacinthoides hispanica subsp. algeriensis

I planted healthy bulbs of the common garden Hyacinthodes one fall. They struggled to send up small deformed leaves the following spring, but no flowers. The leaves soon withered and I never saw them again.

Many plants feared elsewhere are never going to become invasive pests in central Arizona. A few winter-growing annuals have become pests in the wild here. I agree with the thought of offering potentially invasive plants with a disclaimer.
