oncocyclus irises

Two good sources for seed of Oncocyclus iris species are Oron Peri's
Seed of Peace <oronperi@gmail.com> and Kurt Vickery
<kvickery@btinternet.com>. Raising these plants from seed can take a
long time, because the seeds may germinate the year after planting or
even 4 or 5 years later. The seeds should not carry any viruses.

Gardeners in the southwestern United States grow many Oncocyclus irises,
usually hybrids, and some of them may sell plants. You might find them
by searching with Google for "Oncocyclus hybrids."

These species do not tolerate much rain, so I grow them under cover.
