Friends, Just out of curiosity: From Brent and Becky Bulb catalog re O. ponticum ‘Sochi’ …..“ a superb improvement for Ornithogalum ‘Magnum’…. and from John Bryan’s Bulbs O. magnum…caucasus Mtns.. to 36 inches O. ponticum Crimea. Similar to O. narboense. “Sochi’ is a robust form with pure white flowers. incidentally Bryan gives O. narboense as 12- 18 inches. Brent and Becky give ;Magnum’ as a cv, Bryan calls it a species.
