Diane, I just did a drive on Thursday to to Lake County to see C. superbus and found the populations to be a few days/ a week from blossom opening (a single forerunner was in bloom - but nothing else). This is neither the county nor the taxon you mentioned - but both are close enough that I would wager the more northerly C. vestae populations may be on the early side, too. -|<ipp ________________________________ From: pbs <pbs-bounces@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> on behalf of Diane Whitehead <ldiane.whitehead@gmail.com> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2018 9:36 PM To: Pacific Bulb Society Subject: [pbs] Is Calochortus vestae in bloom? I am planning to drive down to Mendocino next week to see Calochortus vestae, but figured I had better check first to see if it is blooming. Has anyone noticed it?
