Phycella bicolor

I grow P. bicolor and P. ignea and both bloom and do well for me.  I
grow them in deep five gallon pots, in a mixture of mostly pumice, with
about 30% potting mix that is mostly peat (no wood products). I allow
the pots to dry out almost completely in summer and have had no problems
with rot.  They get fertilized with a soluble fertilizer about once a
month while in growth.  I do not provide extra heat and my greenhouses
go down to about 35F on cold nights, but heat up to about 70-80F on warm
sunny winter days.
