You PBS folks know your bulbs. I'm impressed. Now that the guesses are converging, I asked the current greenhouse manager to look in their old card catalog accessions records. Their reply: "The only Phaedranassa that is in the cards is P. carmiolii. The Stenomesson cards say: S. pearcei, S. splendens, S. variegatum" So my mystery bulb is one of those species.
