Friends -

Just FYI. I grew Biarum tenuifolium for many years in my Kansas City Zone 5/6 outdoor rock bed. I live on the very northern side of the city. Although it reappeared regularly I never saw it flower. It might have as they can be tiny, but I never smellex one either. A cold winter killed my small colony. So it is possible and with even a bit more protection to grow this in the inner city or S. Kansas City these might prosper.

To be honest, I didn't smell a thing, perhaps because it was past its prime?
On the other hand the Stargazer lilies have been overpowering. Cow dung is
good. After all I grew up with it. I'll have a bunch of B. davisii
marmoratum to send too.
