New Year's flower count

Bulbs in flower on New Year's Day -- when I woke up to the very first
frost of the season, probably an all-time late date of first frost here:
Cyclamen coum, C. alpinum, Narcissus cantabricus, N. bulbocodium ssp.
praecox, Sternbergia fischeriana, S. candida, two doubtfully identified
miniature Colchicum species (one white, one pink), Crocus laevigatus,
several Galanthus cultivars, Iris unguicularis (not bulbous). The
sternbergias usually have not flowered until late January. Another
lavender Crocus is in flower in the bulb lawn but I didn't get around to
identifying it yet. In addition to normally midwinter-flowering shrubs
such as Berberis 'Arthur Menzies', 'Dawn' viburnum, and sasanqua
camellias, there are stray flowers on some other plants, probably in
response to the almost freakishly warm season.
