Calochortus question

Randall,

The bulbs will take a few weeks to re-emerge once they sense proper conditions (moisture and cool temps). If it has been especially cold, they may be further delayed - I'd give them a few more weeks before you worry,

Subject: [pbs] Calochortus question

I planted several calochortus bulbs from a recent BX. I got them into
their pots a little later than I would have liked. Ones I had grown from
seed last year and transplanted into larger containers were already
starting to emerge when I finally got those from the BX into their pots.
There was no sign of growth from them however.

Are they likely just delayed from the late start after it started getting
so cold or is there possibly something amiss.

Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated.
