Thanks for your reply. It grows all winter and is in full bloom now then goes dormant. The leaves are a solid green, straight and V shaped and completely smooth. The flower has no scent that I can detect. I originally got the seed from Silverhill but lost the name. From the soil level to the top of the inflorescence is two feet. The bulb is underground but I don’t know what it looks like. How tall is it? Do the flowers or the leaves have a scent? (Could be Albuca shawii with liquorice-like scented leaves) how do the leaves look like? Straight or curly? Flat or channeled, smooth or hairy? How does the bulb look like? How big, exposed or (naturally) underground, which color, fleshy or covered with dry tunic?
