Fritillaria striata propagation

i was speculating based on what I read, and am speculating more now. If they ripen in April they will likely spend the summer dry, then grow with the next fall/winter rains, which is now.

There is a Wiki page on growing Fritillaria from seed, reachable from the Fritillaria index page, which states frits in general need 4 months or so of cool to cold, wet weather before sprouting. It doesn't say whether this applies to F. striata.j
