Amaryllis belladonna flowering

August and September see tens of thousands of belladonna flowering along
roads, in gardens, in fields in the Cape Town region, including Darling, my
town. Does this happen elsewhere?

I have yet to see paradisicola in flower. Vioolsdrif, their home, is a long
drive.

Alastair, Darling, Western Cape.
