Hello all, Nearing the end of its bloom cycle Scadoxus cyrtanthiflorus has been going now for many weeks. The flowers are quite long-lasting. The photos were taken Oct. 10th around its peak time. This is the first year flowering for me. Around the middle of September I watched the flower scale burst out of its pseudostem. Such a rewarding species to grow.
Cheers! Erika
