I've never seen a definition that says a nothospecies is a non-sexually reproducing population."Yes, I'm aware that the Lycoris nothspecies names do not necessarily represent clones. That's why when I buy Lycoris I prefer to purchase those with clonal names, not nothospecific names. On the other hand, when I'm dreaming up hybridization schemes, the nothospecific names come in handy. Is there a readily accessible list of those nothospecies which have fertile reproducing populations?Back in the day, aren't these what would have been called hybrid swarms?
