As one who received many lots of seed from Paul via the NALS Seed Exchange, it worked flawlessly. Of course the diversity of genera covered by PBS means more work. But the need to relate everything back to a species on the BICON list is essential. Our authorities are not interested in the classification systems we use. If it’s not on the list it doesn’t come in. It is always scanning through the whole list for each genus. Occasionally you may find something like Dahlia variabilis or Dahlia x cultorum that may afford a secondary means of acceptability.
