Hi Erika,

Yes, your bulb is naturally going into dormancy. In warmer conditions, they
can be watered sparingly (once a month), but in cooler climate, you will
want to be more careful as watering can rot the bulb. If the bulb is small,
I don't recommend drying them out completely for the whole season because
that could kill it.
