Dear all,
How are you doing? I hope you all are safe and healthy.
I usually do not write much here, but I gladly read most of the threads. Thank you for the valuable information and tips.
Have been a bulb lover since I can ever remember, did my first Hippeastrum cross when I was 10 years old. Then I had a long break in between, moved to a different country twice and had literally not much possibility to grow anything (way too dark apartments, literally no windowsills, you name it). Since 3 years I have finally the possibility to let my dreams come true and grow many beautiful plants again. In these 3 years I have tried growing various corm, tuber and bulb plants, not just Hippeastrum. It's a learning process, everyday.
Long story short, I would like to get in touch with the other of you, who are seeking for Hippeastrum species. Telos Rare Bulbs is a very good source (thank you Diana, you are very kind!), but there are so many more. If you know sources or if you are willing to join forces in finding more species, please reach out to me. I can gladly share my list with you and help you get more species (in case you need any).
Have a great weekend,
Vlad Hempel

p.s. Greetings from sunny Berlin, where we have a pretty mild summer with regular rains (Thanks God!).
