Plantar fasciitis

On thing I haven’t seen suggested yet for Robin is a night splint. Something like this https://amazon.com/AZMED-Fasciitis-Adjustable-Achi… <https://amazon.com/AZMED-Fasciitis-Adjustable-Achi…> from Amazon. There are a bunch of styles available but I found ones like this will allow you to hobble into the bathroom without taking the damned thing off. The night splint has really been the only thing that’s helped me when I’ve at plantar fasciitis. It takes a couple of weeks of wearing it to help but it works by keeping the fascia stretched out so you don’t keep stretching it and contracting it which is a lot of what causes the pain. Although I haven’t had problems for years I keep the splint around in case the it acts up again.

Robyn, you have my deepest sympathy. Over the years I’ve fought tendonitis in both ankle and both elbows plus had periodic bouts of plantar fasciitis. It sucks.
