Bletilla stiata

I had twol patches of Bletilla stiata, both the magenta color and a white one with striped foliage that I got from a local grower. They seem to do ok here in N CA with about once a week watering in summer. They go dormant during our wet winters and come up again in the spring. Mine are planted on the north side of our house in partial shade. I can’t say my plants are thriving and getting a lot bigger but they do survive on my watering regime. They seem to take a few years to get established enough to bloom in the ground.
