The presence of the plant is not the problem. Atropa belladonna bears fetchingly luscious berries which are notorious for their appeal to wild fruit collectors. Oenanthe crocata is another contender for the distinction of most toxic plant (said to be the most toxic plant native to the British Isles). Jim McKenney
