Hi Arthur, Do you know if it is self-fertile?? I have a large B. disticha inflorescence in my front year and tried to pollinate it several times without much luck as far as I can see now and it is ready to dehisce. I have had success with Brunsvigia josephinae. Last year I managed to harvest about 25 seed. So far the bulb is dormant this year at a time when last year it was in full flower. I was hoping this year to offer seed to the list but I guess not. Germination of the seed from last year was near 100%. Perhaps I should have a "talk" with the bulb which is almost as big as a volleyball.
