Hi Jim,

Coincidentally, my first ever acquisition of Boophone haemanthoides will
arrive in the mail today from Telos. I have always been fascinated by their
wavy leaves and firecracker seed heads in photos. I am glad to hear yours
grows well here, although I recall I get more frost on my end of town.
Actually, I see on the pbs wiki that it grows at the UC Berkeley Botanic
Garden so frost must not be a problem. I doubt mine will bloom this year,
being disturbed and likely not old enough. But in future years I can let
you know when it is blooming and we can exchange pollen.
