Dear PBS friends,

I suspect that Iris tectorum is blooming right now in milder parts of the US - west coast , south east etc.

	I need fresh pollen.

Iris tectorum is a fairly common crested iris aka Japanes Roof Iris. Flowers may be blue-violet or white.

I am doing a project that requires some fresh viable pollen of this species within the next week to 10 days. Please, I hope some one is willing to help me out.

If you have access to fresh flowers please help. Send me a private email jwaddick@kc.rr.com <mailto:jwaddick@kc.rr.com>	And I will tell you how to collect and prepare pollen for shipping. I will pay for mailing costs either by priority mail or overnight express mail.

It is a fairly simple procedure and would be a great help. Thanks in advance for your consideration. Jim W.
